URBO

Urbo is an open source city app platform that retrieves services and information from various sources and makes them available on a single platform for citizens.

The app accesses data from city-specific backends and bundles the available content into thematic-functional modules. Cities configure which modules are active and adapt the branding to their own identity.

Urbo is developed and maintained by SWCode, with support from the federal funding programme "Modellprojekte Smart Cities (MPSC)" of the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) and the Bundesministerium des Innern und für Heimat (BMI).
