Smart City Hub
Open-source platform for data management, app hosting, and identity management for municipalities and regions.
The Smart City Hub (SCH) is a modular platform providing municipalities with shared infrastructure for data management, application hosting, and access control. It was developed as part of the Smart Cities model project "Smarte Region Würzburg" and is designed as open-source software for reuse by other municipalities.
Data Market The SCH provides a central data market through which data from various sources can be ingested, processed, and made available to other applications. ETL processes enable transformation and forwarding of data, e.g. to an open data portal.
Application Hosting An integrated app store allows authorized users to independently install and manage applications. The platform supports multi-tenant group hierarchies for simultaneous use by multiple administrative units.
Identity and Access Management Keycloak provides centralized Single Sign-On (SSO) and role-based access control across all connected services. Data management is designed to be GDPR-compliant.
