p2d2 (Public-Public Data-DNA) is a modern spatial data infrastructure (SDI) that connects open administrative data with citizen-contributed data. The project aims to synchronize open government data with OpenStreetMap, WikiData, and other public data platforms.

The application is built on AstroJS and integrates OpenLayers for map visualization and PostGIS for geodata management. It enables the collection, quality assurance, and provision of geodata by the public in collaboration with government agencies.

Technical foundation:

  • Frontend: AstroJS, TypeScript, OpenLayers
  • Backend: PostgreSQL/PostGIS
  • SDI components: Mapserver, Mapproxy, Mapnik
  • Deployment: Proxmox-based infrastructure
