OpenForm

OpenForm is a self-hostable, AI-assisted application helper for public administration. Applicants are guided through complex forms in natural language: a chat assistant answers questions about the procedure, checks eligibility up front, collects the required information step by step, and fills in the official PDF form automatically. Supporting documents can be uploaded and processed with text recognition; a knowledge base with vector search answers subject-matter questions with citations. Forms are converted from existing PDF templates into a semantic model through a conversion pipeline and can be used in multiple languages. The stack (Next.js frontend, FastAPI backend, Supabase) runs entirely on your own infrastructure; Mistral and OpenAI, among others, can be connected as LLM providers.
