meinWND App

The meinWND App is the digital citizen participation platform of Landkreis St. Wendel in Germany. It enables residents to engage directly in local decision-making processes – conveniently from their smartphone or via a web browser. Through the app, citizens can participate in surveys and polls on municipal topics, contribute ideas and join discussions on digital pinboards, and discover health and care services offered by the district. After a simple registration, users gain access to all personalised features. The app is available as a native application for iOS and Android and can additionally be used as a web app in any browser. It was developed on behalf of Landkreis St. Wendel and published as open-source software under the EUPL 1.2 licence to promote transparency and allow other municipalities to reuse and adapt it for their own needs.
