InvenioRDM is a turn-key research data management (RDM) platform built on the Invenio framework, developed at CERN. It allows research institutions, universities and libraries to run their own open-access repository for research data, publications and other digital outputs.
InvenioRDM provides rich, community-curated metadata based on the DataCite schema, persistent identifier minting (DOIs) via DataCite, integration with ORCID, ROR and funder registries, versioning and access control for records, and community-based curation and review workflows. It is the software behind CERN's Zenodo repository and is used by a growing number of institutions worldwide as their institutional research data repository.
The software is developed as part of the Invenio ecosystem, with contributions from CERN and a wide network of partner institutions, and is released under the MIT license.
