InvenioILS

invenio-app-ils is the Integrated Library System flavour of Invenio, the digital repository framework developed at CERN. It provides libraries with the tools to catalogue, circulate and make discoverable their physical and digital collections.

Built on the Invenio framework, invenio-app-ils reuses its indexing, search and access-control building blocks to offer cataloguing of bibliographic records, series and multipart monographs; management of physical items and their locations; circulation workflows for loans, requests and returns; acquisition order tracking; and a public discovery interface for patrons to search and browse the collection.

The software is developed as part of the Invenio ecosystem, with contributions from CERN and partner institutions, and is released under the MIT license.
