conference-frontend is a conference management system for Jitsi Meet, part of the NRW.desk digital workspace suite developed by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It provides a comprehensive web-based interface for creating, editing, and deleting video conferences and virtual rooms, with full control over scheduling, permissions, and access settings. Users can configure participant roles (moderators, attendees), manage invitations, delegate responsibilities to assigned deputies, and set up recurring conferences using RRule-based recurrence patterns. The application supports guest access, telephone dial-in integration, and integrates with an address book for contact suggestions and saved contact lists. As an access hub, it provides seamless entry into Jitsi Meet video conferences and offers integrated navigation to other NRW.desk services such as email, chat, calendar, and document management through a unified dashboard. The frontend is built with Angular, uses OpenID Connect for authentication, and is designed with a responsive three-column layout that separates actions, content, and information areas for an efficient user experience. Accessibility and WCAG-conform design are a central development goal.
